Wallace knows every game matters in this stretch run

Man, let me tell you, getting these last two wins has been pretty good for us. It gets us back on a winning streak, gives us some kind of momentum and keeps us in the playoff hunt. We put ourselves in a good position to be where we are now, and I think we just need to get back to where we normally have been for most of the season and go from there.
We were able to pick up these last couple wins by getting back to basics. We got back to playing good defense – good team defense, sharing the ball on offense and just talking. I think the main thing was that everybody out there was not caring who gets the shot, not caring who gets the credit, just worrying about your teammates, supporting your teammates and helping out all for your teammates so that ultimately, we would all be successful.
I know it’s been a while since I blogged – since the all-star break actually, but I’m doing good. I feel good, aside from being a little tired right now. I’m sleepy because I didn’t sleep too much yesterday, but other than that I’m good. Being home now helps a lot, because I’m going to be able to catch up on some much-needed rest. I’m just happy the two longest road trips of the season are over now and that we don’t have anything longer than three games away from home in a row the rest of the way. And we’ve only got one of those. I think for us, being home helps a lot. It really gives us an advantage because we know that we can play good at home, so this should put us in a pretty good predicament for the playoff run.
Another thing that can help us out as we make this push is the crowd. We’ve had some pretty great crowds the last two games, and even though they might not have been there for us at first, I think it’s something we can build on. The more we play at the level we’re playing at now, the more they’ll continue to come out and support us every night.
Next up, we’ve got Miami and Dwyane (Wade) coming to town. We’re looking at them like they’re a team that’s in front of us, and for us to get where we want to be, this is a team that we have to beat to position ourselves better in the season. I think that’s how we’re approaching tomorrow’s game. This is a must win for us. Right now, we’re sitting out of the playoffs and that’s nobody’s fault except our own. We put ourselves in that position, so this is a must win for us. I guess you could say this game counts as two, but we’re looking at the bigger picture. We’re looking at this as a team that’s ahead of us in the playoffs. We feel like we can come out, take care of them, and position ourselves better in the season.
I know the Bobcats have never been to the playoffs, but this isn’t enjoyable for me yet because I want to win so badly. There’s no possible way we can just be happy where we are, because we let it slip away. If this was March 8 and we were still the fifth seed or fourth seed, up by two or three games, then I’d say yeah, I can sit back and enjoy it because we’re in a good situation. But right now, we’re not in the playoffs. We’re in the same predicament we were last year, and we didn’t make it last year, so there’s nothing to enjoy about this. We’ve got to come out and take care of business and do what we’re supposed to do.
On a side not to all of my fans out there that received a Gerald Wallace shooting sleeve against the Warriors, apparently (Stephen) Jack(son) must have some connections because he was out here shooting with two of them on today. He was dunking a lot, so his hands are going to be sore after practice.

Man, i wish you the best of luck against Miami. It’s a team we all know you can beat and I think you guys should know that even thou some seats arent filled, were over here abroad from all over the world supporting you behind our tv screens and computers as well, just ask matt roshinski, just since the start of the season the bobcats chat has been filled with more and more fans from all over the world every game!
its a joy to watch you play this season, and had this been last year you’d probably have the fifth spot, but numerous teams in the east has stepped up, and the road to the playoffs is a bit harder this year, but no one doubts you’ll do it! You keep doing what you do best, blockin shots, up and down the court, dunkin the ball for, steppin up on the free throw line, and keep playing as hard as always and this team will go deep in the playoffs!
I will be keeping my eyes on GW, and I pray the team is on the ball tonite. Bobcats have been doing great, don’t stop now! C’mon defense!

Man, you guys are doing great! I have been habitually going to games lately. I wanted to run on the court and jump Baron Davis after that uncalled for foul on your fast break. Saw you destroy the Cavs and Lakers, and many more. I have only been to one game where you lost to the Nets, but it was still very thrilling. Keep it up I will see you tonight against the Craptors. I will be the one cheering my butt off!
P.s. I filled out my census form because you told me so!
