After trailing by as many as 19 points in the first half, the Bobcats rallied with a 41-19 run and earned a 100-92 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, tying the franchise record for the largest deficit overcome in a win.

Bobcats forward Gerald Wallace missed his third straight game with a sprained left ankle, but it wasn’t enough to slow the Charlotte’s (35-32) drive for the postseason.

“After a loss like we had at Indiana (last night) and getting down 19 (tonight), this is about as good as it gets,” said Bobcats Head Coach Larry Brown. “We defended, played hard and got as good a win as we could have.”

Stephen Graham, starting at forward for the injured Wallace, scored 19 points for the Bobcats. In his three starts for Wallace, Graham has averaged 16.7 points per game while shooting 70 percent (17-for-29) from the field.

“Stephen Graham has been great,” said Bobcats guard Raymond Felton. “He’s a guy that works hard every day, he’s a great teammate and my hat’s off to him. Without Stephen Graham tonight, we wouldn’t have won. No question.”

Felton made several key plays in the Bobcats victory, including a buzzer-beating three pointer to close the first half and cut the Thunder (41-25) lead to single digits. He finished the game with 17 points on 7-for-10 shooting along with seven assists.

The Bobcats were led in points by Stephen Jackson (20), while Tyrus Thomas added 11 points and nine rebounds off the bench.

“We’re playing like we want to be a playoff team,” said Jackson. “To let that one get away last night and then bounce back tonight against a good team in Oklahoma City, it says a lot about this team’s growth.”

The Bobcats will be back in action Friday when they travel to Atlanta to take on the Hawks (43-24).
